The frightened little pup had ribs sticking out, smelled awful, and, according to the vet who first examined him, would not have lasted on his own much longer. The kind-hearted, animal-loving teacher who spotted him huddling in a ditch on a country road, stopped her car, got out and called to him, and was met with quivering puppy sounds, a wildly wagging tail, and then multiple kisses as she took him into her arms.
Through serendipity and the kindness of this wonderful woman, we took this sweet little guy into our hearts and home, discovering beneath the tattered black fur, the most noble, sweet-natured, smart, loving dog who grew from that scrawny, hungry little pup into our beautiful 120 lb lab/pit bull mix – Wolfie. We were blessed with his presence in our lives for 9 wonderful years, and we still miss him every day. This shoppe is dedicated to the memory of our precious Wolfie – and to all the precious dogs who occupy a special place in the hearts of those who love and care for them.
